In Vidarbha region of Maharashtra state women are the main workforce for weeding activity in Agriculture. Mostly they are using Khurpi for weeding purpose, that’s why they suffered from musculoskeletal problems after weeding activity. In this region weeder is required for weeding activity. Therefore selected this topic for Ph.D. research. Developed manually operated weeder is helpful for women for weeding in Jowar, Cotton, Soyabean, Groundnut, Bajra etc. This weeder is comfortable for all women of Vidarbha region. With the help of developed manually operated weeder increase the efficiency of workers and productivity of work. Decrease the musculoskeletal problems after weeding activity due to comfortable posture and increase the yield of crops.
