The present investigation was conducted to study the effect of mycorrhizal inoculation on the growth and yield of some native crops of Maharashtra i.e. Dolichos lablab Linn., Moringa oleifera Lam-, Sesbania grandiflora Perz-and Setaria italica Beau-at various levels of phosphate namely 100 percent, 75 percent and 50 percent as compared to the uninoculated plants given 100 percent recommended phosphate and without phosphate. Rhizobium was used with VAM and phosphate in case of Dolichos lab lab Linn. All plants were grown in non sterilized and sterilized soil at pot level but Moringa oleifera Lam- and Sesbania grandiflora Perz were transplanted in the field at the age of 60 days.
